Forty-seven hogs became weak and died in Malolos City, Bulacan, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

The hog raiser said they just noticed the hogs suddenly becoming weak.

After a few days, the hogs died one after another.

The local government had the hogs buried immediately.

An animal expert clarified that the deaths of the hogs were not due to African swine fever even if the cause of the deaths have yet to be determined. —KG, GMA News
