NCRPO chief Eleazar urges ‘drug queen’ to come home
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar on Wednesday urged alleged drug queen, Guia Gomez Castro, to come back to the Philippines and face the accusations against her.
"Mas maganda harapin niya 'yung kaso 'di ba? Pati na rin 'yung kanyang asawa, 'yung angkan na ito," Eleazar said during a press briefing.
Eleazar also identified the alleged drug lord's husband, Dennis Castro, a former barangay chairman.
"Ang balita natin doon sa husband niya pumunta ng abroad pero recently nandito rin, pabalik-balik..." Eleazar said.
According to Eleazar, case buildup is ongoing against Castro, the elected barangay captain of Barangay 484 Zone 48 in Manila City.
The barangay's officer-in charge, Weng Calma, said Castro is in the United States.
But according to Eleazar, some reports indicate that Castro is in Canada. Police are still verifying the exact location of Castro.
Eleazar earlier said a total of 16 police officers were connected to Castro's alleged drug operations.
The NCRPO chief has said nine of the 16 alleged ninja cops are already dead, while two are retired, two have been dismissed, two have gone AWOL, and one is in jail.
Eleazar said police are still investigating if Castro had a hand on the death of some of the ninja cops.
