Ex-Pagbilao mayor's daughter dangles P500-K reward for info on dad's shooting

The family of former Pagbilao, Quezon Mayor Romeo Portes has offered a P500,000 reward for anyone who could give information on the people behind his shooting.

On Tuesday, Portes was shot by assailants riding a red motorcycle while he was sitting outside his house in Barangay Bukal.

A CCTV footage showed the arrival of the suspects on board motorcycles. One of them got off and approached the victim before shooting him.

Police authorities have started pursuit operations to arrest the suspects while Portes is recovering in the hospital.

The victim is the father of Pagbilao’s incumbent mayor Shierre Ann Palicpic. -Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
