Chief investigator of Cordova Police Station in Cebu killed by riding in tandem

A police officer, the chief investigator at the Cordova Police Station in Cebu province, was shot dead by unidentified individuals on Thursday, according to a report on Saksi.

Police Master Sgt. Eleazar Llanes, according to a colleague, asked permission to buy dinner but never returned to the station.

He was killed by individuals riding in tandem.

Llanes was assigned at the Cordova Police Station in 2014. He served as a member of the Intelligence Unit and Drug Enforcement Unit for years.
