P34 million in alleged shabu hidden in tea packets seized in Las Piñas

Authorities seized at least P34 million worth of shabu hidden in tea packets during an anti-narcotics operation in Las Piñas.

A suspect identified as Kenneth Vito Cruz was also arrested in the operation, according to a Saturday “24 Oras Weekend” report.

Cruz said that the seized drugs were only passed on to him.

Cruz will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. — Richa Noriega/DVM, GMA News
