After making history with their reunion concert in the Philippines, the Eraserheads are taking on the world.

On Instagram, lead singer Ely Buendia said a world tour is in the works, and it’s coming in as soon as 2023.

It's consistent with what "Huling El Bimbo" concert producer and WEU President Francis Lumen said in previous interviews: That the Eraserheads is already in "deep discussions" to go on a world tour next year.

"It is something that we are so proud of and of course, we want to showcase the Filipino talents," Lumen added.

This update comes after Ely, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro took the stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds and drew in an estimated crowd of 75,000 fans.

In an IG post on Monday, Ely thanked the fans for "coming on such short notice."

No details on the upcoming world tour have been released yet, but we’ll be sure to be on the lookout.
