About P1 million worth of jewelry was stolen inside a mall store in Trece Martires City, Cavite, according to Emil Sumangil’s exclusive report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday.

The shop’s CCTV footage showed five of the six suspects entered the store on December 30, 2022. The female suspects distracted the sales clerks by pretending to inquire about some items. One of their accomplices, meanwhile, opened a glass box and carted away the valuable items.

Parang tina-try niyang i-open. Saudi gold po, 18 karat,” said the manager of the jewelry store.

Police are now investigating the incident, the report said. They already established the identities of the suspects and are currently searching for them. -- Sundy Locus/BAP, GMA Integrated News
