The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) advised passport applicants its Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) will be closed for processing and releasing of passports on June 30. In an advisory on its website, the DFA said Malacañang had declared June 30 a non-working holiday for the inauguration of President-elect Benigno Simeon Aquino III. “Appointments for processing and release of passports and authenticated documents scheduled for that day will be accommodated on July 1-2, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.," it said in its advisory.
