Amid reports that parts of the Hollywood spy thriller "Bourne Legacy" will be shot along EDSA, Metro Manila police head Chief Superintendent Alan Purisima said the film's producers have not yet coordinated with the police about its shooting schedules. In an interview over radio dzBB, Purisima said  the producers of the film must coordinate with the police to avoid traffic jams and accidents if they will shoot along busy areas like EDSA.
Purisima noted that the shooting may distract motorists, some of whom may linger to watch the proceedings.   Earlier reports indicated that the filming for the movie may take place in parts of the Philippines this month.   In Metro Manila, the locations reportedly include Ayala Avenue, Intramuros, Jones Bridge, Marikina City Market, Navotas Fishport, and Pasay Taft.   The Internet Movie Database (IMDB) describes "The Bourne Legacy" as a film centering on a new Central Intelligence Agency operative, based on novels by Robert Ludlum.   IMDB indicated the cast includes Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Corey Stoll, Oscar Isaac, Scott Glenn and Stacy Keach. - VVP, GMA News
