Maki Pulido's 'Pamilya Tubig' on 'Reporter's Notebook' wins at 2026 Lasallian Scholarum Awards

Maki Pulido's "Pamilya Tubig" episode on "Reporter's Notebook" was hailed as the Outstanding Video Feature Story on Youth and Education at the 2026 Lasallian Scholarum Awards.

The episode followed the Tubig family in Macabebe, Pampanga. They live in an area flooded with water and have learned to adapt to the situation by using boats to transport themselves.

The daughters of the family, Clarine, 10, and Cyrine, 8, ride the boat for 30 minutes to reach San Gabriel Elementary School and attend their classes.

The episode also touched on a similar situation in Hagonoy, Bulacan, where teachers of the San Roque Elementary School have to clear the water from their classrooms before welcoming their students.

Aside from "Pamilya Tubig," several Kapuso entries were named finalists under two categories at the awards. They are the following:
