Three dead in Tondo shooting spree
Three women were killed after a man went on a shooting spree near their home in Manila's Tondo district Tuesday night – supposedly after he could not get pulutan or finger food for a drinking gathering. Police are now tracking down the suspect, initially identified as Ronald Cruz, who fled after the incident, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday. Cruz allegedly went on his shooting spree after one of the victims could not give him pulutan. Killed on the spot was his mother-in-law Sinencia Valencia. The other two victims – Cruz's wife Gina and in-law Lorie Venturina – died in a hospital. An initial investigation showed the suspect asked Valencia for pulutan but his request was turned down. Manila Police District homicide section officer-on-case SPO1 Gerardo Rivera said police are hunting down Cruz who fled right after the incident. — LBG, GMA News
