Woman dies after jumping off Mandaluyong flyover

A woman fell to her death after she jumped off a flyover near Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City Wednesday night.

 

The woman, who was not immediately identified, defied calls by bystanders to return to safety and not to jump, radio dzBB’s Manny Vargas reported early Thursday.

 

Officer-on-case PO2 Donald Bañez of the Mandaluyong City police said the incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Bañez said residents of Bgy. Wack-Wack rushed the woman to the Mandaluyong City Medical Center but it was too late for doctors to save her.

 

He said they could not immediately find any identification card on the victim. –KG, GMA News
