Fire razes plastics factory in Valenzuela

A fire of undetermined origin razed a plastics factory in Valenzuela City Tuesday night, lasting more than four hours before firefighters finally put it out.

 

No one was initially reported injured in the fire on M. Gregorio Street in Bgy. Canumay in Valenzuela City, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday.

 

Initial investigation showed the fire started at 7:44 p.m. and reached the fifth alarm before firefighters placed it under control at 10:25 p.m.

 

But it was not until 12:15 a.m. Wednesday that the fire was finally declared out.

 

Arson investigators were still determining the cause of the fire and the estimated damage to property as of Wednesday morning. –KG, GMA News
