Classes will remain suspended in three schools in Valenzuela City on Friday due to the high level of water there, the city government said Thursday evening. In an advisory, the city government said this was based on the recommendation of school principals and village chairmen of Polo and Wawang Pulo. The schools where classes remain suspended are:

1. Pio Valenzuela Elementary School 2. Wawang Pulo Elementary School 3. Wawang Pulo National High School
The city government said this was due to "extreme high water level" in those areas. Heavy rain since last week had caused floods in many parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces, and forced the suspension of classes and work. Most of the schools have resumed classes, except for some where classrooms are still being used as evacuation centers. — LBG, GMA News
