Nearly two weeks after she was brutally murdered, model and TV talent Julie Ann Rodelas will be laid to rest at the Golden Haven memorial park in Las Piñas City Saturday. A Mass will be held at the Mary Queen of Apostles parish in Parañaque City before Rodelas' remains are to be brought to the memorial park, radio dzBB reported early Saturday. Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police has gathered enough evidence to merit the filing of an additional charge of rape against some of the murder suspects.  The charges are forthcoming in the coming days. Quezon City Police District head Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega said in a report by dzBB's Allan Gatus that among the new evidenced discovered through a medical examination was a laceration at her private parts. Rodelas was shot to death in Quezon City last Nov. 6. Police, subsequently, arrested suspected masterminds Althea Altamirano and Fernando Quiambao Jr. They were charged with murder. Also, "suspect-turned-witness" Jaymar Waradji was charged. The investigation allegedly showed that fellow-model Altamirano wanted to have Quiambao help her get back at  Rodelas as the latter supposedly spread rumors that Altamirano had had two children. — DVM, GMA News
