A policeman who was punched and knocked out by a former Philippine Basketball Association import in Quezon City last month landed in the hospital again Wednesday, this time after falling victim to a hit-and-run incident. PO2 Anselmo Lazatin was brought to the East Avenue Medical Center after his motorcycle was hit by a black car (ZNF-552), radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported. The report said Lazatin was heading from Camp Karingal to Fairview when the incident occurred on East Avenue. The motorist whose car hit Lazatin sped off. Last March 27, Lazatin had been knocked out when he tried to pacify former PBA import Jamelle Cornley, who was making a scene in Quezon City. Lazatin was hit in the eye and right side of the body, and had to be hospitalized. Cornley was eventually arrested and spent Holy Week in detention, but is out on bail. — LBG, GMA News
