Thunderstorm causes floods, heavy traffic in parts of NCR, NLEX
Rain from a thunderstorm caused floods in parts of Metro Manila and the North Luzon Expressway Tuesday afternoon.
In Valenzuela City, a flood in front of Fatima Hospital was 32 inches deep as of 4:20 p.m., the city government said on its Twitter account.
The city government added the 32-inch-high floodwaters rendered the area "not passable to light vehicles," and that only trucks and buses could pass.
For its part, the North Luzon Expressway said that as of 4:12 p.m., lanes 3 and 4 were affected by floods.
"As of 4:12 p.m., heavy traffic at Valenzuela both directions," it said.

In Quezon City, radio dzBB's Henry Herdillo reported the heavy rain caused heavy traffic at EDSA Cubao and Kamuning in Quezon City, and at East Avenue.
Earlier, PAGASA issued a 3:25 p.m. advisory indicating the thunderstorm affecting parts of Metro Manila, including Camanava and Quezon City.
Also affected by the thunderstorm were parts of:
