MMDA: Classes in Metro Manila suspended Monday for INC medical mission
(Updated 8:56 p.m.) After the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday afternoon announced the suspension of classes in 12 cities and the municipality of Pateros on Monday, the Department of Education on Sunday evening issued an updated advisory stating that classes throughout Metro Manila will be suspended to ease the flow of traffic in anticipation of a wide-scale medical and dental mission to be conducted by the Iglesia ni Cristo in Manila.
According to the DepEd's 8:52 p.m. advisory, classes from preschool to high school in all private and public schools in the National Capital Region are suspended Monday:
The event will be undertaken simultaneously in five locations:

- Manila (including college level)
- Malabon (including college level)
- Marikina (including college level)
- Quezon City
- Caloocan
- Pasig
- Pasay
- Makati
- Mandaluyong
- Taguig
- Parañaque
- Pateros
- San Juan
- Muntinlupa
- Valenzuela
- Navotas
- Las Piñas
The event will be undertaken simultaneously in five locations:
- Plaza del Carmen (beside San Sebastian Church),
- Plaza Avelino,
- Magallanes Drive Ext. (facing post office),
- Quinta Market (before "Quiapo ilalim"), and
