39 injured in Manila LPG tank explosion

Around 39 people were injured after a liquefied petroleum gas tank blew up in Manila's Tondo district Monday evening. Manila fire marshal Superintendent Jaime Ramirez said the explosion occurred at 6:55 p.m. at Barangay 20, Zone 2. Though the explosion did not start a fire, the injured suffered first-degree burns, radio dzBB reported Tuesday.
