150 families lose homes in fire in Tatalon, QC

A fire that hit a residential area in Quezon City left at five injured and around 150 families homeless.

The fire occurred at Barangay Tatalon in Quezon City, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported, adding the fire was at Task Force Alpha as of 5:50 p.m. Task Force Alpha means all available fire trucks in Metro Manila are expected to respond to the fire.

According to a report on "24 Oras", firefighters had trouble responding to the fire because of the narrow streets in the area. They managed to put the fire under control before 6 p.m., the report said.



Firefighters have yet to determine what caused the fire but suspect that faulty electrical wiring may have been involved.  — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
