The remains of hazing victim Guillo Cesar Servando are set to be cremated at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to his father, Aurelio Servando.
In an interview on GMA's Unang Balita, Aurelio said that, after the cremation, Guillo's ashes will be brought to their hometown in Bacolod for interment.
"Magpapahinga lang kami ng ilang araw, then lilipad kaming Bacolod," he said.
Guillo was found dead on Sunday from "traumatic injuries" to his trunk and lower extremities stemming from a suspected hazing incident. His remains were brought to La Salle Green Hills in Mandaluyong City for a private wake.
Aurelio said he is optimistic that justice will be served over the death of his son.
However, "realistic din na under the judicial system natin sa bansa, napakatagal, laging inaabuso ng ating defense lawyers, maraming palusot, maraming hindi natutuloy na hearing, kaya bahala na ang Diyos sa kahit ano mang course of this investigation," he added.
He says his family is still in touch with the parents of the other hazing victims.
"Ang ama ng dalawang biktima, nakausap ko na, kahit ang mga anak nila ay under medication pa, tumutulong naman sila sa amin," he said.
He also said that he did not allow his son to join any fraternity.
"Definitely not. Pinagbabawal namin ang pagjo-join sa fraternity dahil alam naming delikado diyan e," he added.
He said he only brought his son to the school to fix some papers for the latter's trip to Korea for a class field trip.
"At around 8:30 a.m., nag-request siya kung pwede mahatid sa St. Benilde kasi he has to do some work and magsu-submit siya ng papeles dahil aalis siyang pa-Korea sa 17 of this month for a field trip. So hinatid ko siya, and it was one of those rare occassions na hinalikan niya ako sa cheeks," he said.
Guillo and three fellow neophytes were found in a condominium in Manila after the initiation rites late Saturday.
"Wala naman akong nafe-feel (na panganib). Kasi kung may na-feel ako, pinayuhan ko sana siyang huwag pumasok," he added.

Meanwhile, the Makati police have already investigated the house where the hazing supposedly took place.
City police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban Jr. went to the house along Calatagan Street in Barangay Palanan, radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz reported.
The Makati police joined the investigation after a suspect, a member of a fraternity, surrendered to Manila police Tuesday and claimed the hazing occurred in Makati. — Amanda Fernandez/TJD, GMA News
