Commuters may no longer expect to ride the Light Rail Transit or Metro Rail Transit for the rest of Wednesday, the LRT Authority said.
LRTA spokesman Hernando Cabrera cited "operational, technical and power supply concerns" in saying the LRT and MRT will not resume operations for the day.
"Due to operational, technical and power supply concerns, LRT/MRT will no longer resume operations today," he said on Twitter.
He said the two rail systems may resume operations on Thursday if there was enough power supply.

He said the two rail systems may resume operations on Thursday if there was enough power supply.
"With proper and sufficient power supply, LRT/MRT will resume operations tomorrow morning per daily schedule.," he said.
The LRT and MRT on Wednesday suspended operations in part due to bad weather conditions from Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun).
But Glenda also knocked out power to most of Metro Manila, with utility company Manila Electric Co. still working to restore power as of late Wednesday afternoon.
The LRT and MRT start operations at 5 a.m. and end operations at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
LRT-1 links Roosevelt in Quezon City to Baclaran, while LRT-2 links CM Recto in Manila to Santolan. MRT-3 links North Avenue in Quezon City to Taft Avenue in Pasay City via EDSA. —Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
