Marikina City Hall employee shot dead while biking to work

Police are now tracking a gunman who shot dead an employee of the Marikina City government who was biking to work Friday morning.

The victim was initially identified as Enrico Pascual of the city transportation management and development office, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.

Citing initial information from the police, the report said the killing occurred in Barangay Santo Niño.

An initial investigation showed Pascual was biking to work on 3rd Street when the assailant approached him and shot him at close range.

Pascual was shot in the head and died on the spot.
