PNR train derailed at Sta. Mesa
A train of the Philippine National Railways was derailed in Manila's Sta. Mesa district Monday morning.
No one was initially reported injured in the derailment near Magsaysay Boulevard corner Altura Street, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
The report cited initial information showing the train was heading for Makati City when the rearmost coach was derailed at about 10 a.m.

However, the affected coach did not turn on its side.

Crews were working to get the affected coach back on track.
Last Aug. 18, a PNR train stalled near the PNR station at San Andres, Manila. The southbound train stalled, with PNR spokesman Paul de Quiros saying it was due to a pressure problem. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
