Garbage truck crashes into electric post, knocks out power in Payatas neighborhood

Around two people were injured and power was knocked out in a Payatas, Quezon City neighborhood after a garbage truck crashed into an electric post at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
The truck's driver injured his foot in the crash, while and one of his helpers was hurt when he jumped off the truck, radio dzBB's James Agustin reported.

A crew from the Manila Electric Co. was sent to the area to restore power.
Meanwhile, there was another vehicular crash in Quezon City early Tuesday morning, this time
at EDSA-Cubao where a car slammed into a Metro Rail Transit column.
