At least 12 men, one of them with a police uniform, were arrested early Tuesday in a saturation drive in Manila in time for Undas (All Saints' and All Souls' Days).

The Manila Police District operation occurred in the Happy Land area's Aroma Temporary Housing site in Tondo, according to GMA News TV's "News TV Live."

Oplan Galugad sought to help ensure this year's Undas is peaceful and orderly.

During the operation, at least one of those arrested, initially identified as Fernando Garcia, yielded a firearm and ammunition as well as an MPD uniform.

Garcia denied the items were his.

The police said the saturation operations sought to prevent robbers and snatchers from preying on Filipinos visiting cemeteries this weekend.
