SLEX personnel on heightened alert starting Friday for holiday exodus

Starting Friday, Dec. 19, personnel of the South Luzon Expressway will heighten their alert in anticipation of the holiday exodus to the provinces.

 

The SLEX authorities expect traffic to get heavy on that day as it is the last weekend before Christmas Day, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.

 

An updated dzBB report early Thursday said the SLEX operator will set up assistance centers at strategic areas.

 

Filipinos are expected to start heading for their home provinces this weekend to spend the holidays with their loved ones.
