Relatives of SAF 44 from Cordillera dramatize appeal for justice in Manila

Friends and relatives of some of the fallen 44 Philippine National Police-Special Action Force commandos traveled to Manila from Cordillera on Saturday to appeal for justice from the government.

Armed with banners with pictures of their fallen loved ones, the group staged a program at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila.

Their appeal came in the form of a cultural dance, performed by members of the Ifugao Students Association cultural group based in Cordillera, where many of the 44 SAF who died in the Mamasapano Clash came from.

Vicenta Buy-Ag, president of the Ifuago Students Association said, "Isang tunay na Cordilleran. Aside from napakatapang, napaka-nationalistic, 'yan po ay...one among the best caliber trait or qualities na talagang pang-elite."

The program was organized by fallen SAF men's grieving relatives,  who are determined to pursue justice.

Joseph Dulnuan, the brother of PO2 Joel Dulnuan who was killed in Maguindanao said, "Sana ngayon...hindi pababayaan at hindi matagalan, at masagot agad ang justice para sa mga nasawi." — Jessica Bartolome/LBG, GMA News
