Vendors on Saturday started selling palaspas (palm fronds) in time for Palm Sunday, which marks the start of the Holy Week for Catholics.
In Manila, many have prepared palm fronds outside the Quiapo Church, radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported.
A video posted by dzBB's Vargas showed the vendors readying the fronds, which they would sell at P20 each.
