Tribute race held to mark Enzo Pastor's death anniversary

More than 70 racers participated in "A Round for Enzo", a tribute race for champion driver Enzo Pastor, who was murdered a year ago.

The race, held at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga on Saturday, had two categories with 10 laps each, "24 Oras" reported.

Tom Pastor, Enzo's father, also participated in a time attack race, where drivers try to beat a clock.

The tribute race was meant to commemorate Enzo's life, but his family and friends said they will continue to keep an eye on the case.

"It was so devastating because we don't even have time to grieve and it was so frustrating bec, of the fact that the suspect is a very, very close...part of the family," Remy Pastor, Enzo's mother, said.

Enzo's wife, Dalia, is one of the suspects in his murder and is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by a Quezon City court.

The Quezon City Police District has formed a tracker team to find her and Interpol has also put her on its Wanted List. — JDS, GMA News
