Four of the five members of the Manila Police District allegedly involved in the killing of a suspected robber surfaced Friday afternoon, a television report said.

GMA News TV's QRT reported that the four are now with MPD Station 4 chief Supt. Muarip. The police chief, however, refused to identify them as they wait for the fifth police officer to surface.

The television report said the four were fetched in Recto Avenue and are now ready to turn themselves in to MPD chief Senior Supt. Rolando Nana to clear their names and explain the incident.

A CCTV footage taken by Manila's Barangay 586 showed the police officers chasing down two suspected robbers aboard a tricycle.

One of the suspects was able to flee while the driver of the tricycle, identified as Robin Villarosa, was shot dead despite having his arms raised as if surrendering.

The policemen—Sr/Insp. Rommel Salazar, P03 Ferdinand Valera, P01 Ronald Dipacina, P01 Rhoel Landrito and P01 Diomar Landoy—have already been relieved from service along with the station commander of MPD 4. —Amita O. Legaspi/KBK, GMA News
