Man's body found along EDSA in Quezon City

A dead man, whose body was placed in a garbage bag, was found along EDSA near NIA Road in Barangay Piñahan, Quezon City before dawn Wednesday.

 

A report on GMA News' Unang Balita said that two men found the body at around 2 a.m.

 

The report said that the two men called for help when they saw what looked like a foot protruding from the garbage bag.

 

When policemen opened it, they saw the man's head wrapped with packaging tape and the hands were tied behind the back.

 

Crime scene investigators said that the man died from multiple stab wounds.

 

Police have yet to identify the victim, who had the names Ceasar Macao and Federico Dasig tattooed on his back. —ALG, GMA News
