It took Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel more than three hours to control a fire that razed a warehouse of plastic products in Meycauayan, Bulacan,  Super Radyo dzBB's Divine Reyes reported Monday night.

Several firetrucks responded after the fire started around 8 p.m.

The fire spread quickly as most of the contents of the warehouse were made of plastic materials.

A male employee was reportedly hurt when he returned to the burning building to try to salvage some documents.

The cost of damage was pegged at P5-million, which does not include the cost of the plastic materials destroyed during the fire. — BAP/DVM, GMA News
