1 died, 6 hurt in collision of bus and UV express in QC

One commuter died while six others were injured when a bus hit a van along Commonwealth avenue in Quezon City early Friday morning, reported Allan Gatus of Super Radyo's dzBB.

Gatus reported that the collision occurred when the driver of the A. Prado bus with plate number UVP 265 lost control of his vehicle.

The identity of the lone fatality is not yet known as of posting time.

The bus hit a UV Express van with plate number UVR 295 and commuters who were waiting for a ride at the side of the street.

Wounded commuters were brought to the Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center for medical treatment. — BAP, GMA News
