Former President Joseph Estrada secured another three-year term as Manila mayor after eking out a narrow victory over bitter rival, Alfredo Lim.

Past 12 noon Tuesday, Estrada was proclaimed the winner after garnering 283,149 votes, nearly 3,000 votes higher than Lim's 280,464.

Manila Rep. Amado Bagatsing placed third 167,829 votes.

Lim was mayor from 1992 to 1998 and from 2007 to 2013 when Estrada stopped him from winning a third and last term. — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
