6th complainant vs.  UV Express van rape suspect surfaces 

Another woman has surfaced to accuse Wilfredo Lorenzo and an accomplice of raping her and stealing her belongings, according to Oscar Oida's report on "24 Oras" on Thursday.

Lorenzo, a UV Express driver, was arrested earlier this month for allegedly raping and robbing two of his female passengers.

According to the "24 Oras" report, the woman, identified only as Faith, was the sixth victim to accuse Lorenzo of rape and robbery.

P/SSupt. Joselito Esquivel, Jr., deputy district director for operations of the Quezon City Police District, said the incident happened on April 5.

"Mobile 'pag nangri-rape siya. Lahat ng biktima tinatanggalan ng medyas. Ewan ko kung fetish nila 'yun tapos either ginagawang panali, tinatali sa kamay," Esquivel said.

In her testimony, Faith said Lorenzo stopped the taxi unit a few minutes after she boarded it past midnight in Makati to let an accomplice, identified as Rey Diaz, out of the trunk.

Lorenzo proceeded to bind, gag, and rape her as Diaz drove them toward Quezon City.

"Apparently itong isa nanggaling dun sa trunk tapos pinalabas nung Wilfredo at yung isa, si Rey, nag-drive while itong si Wilfredo Lorenzo ang humalay sa ating biktima," Esquivel said.

Faith was dumped at Sct. Chuatoco in Quezon City after the suspects took her cellphone and cash worth P6,000.

"Dapat silang mamatay. Ang dami-dami nilang binibiktima. Ang daming nabibiktimang mga babae. Bakit ganun? Bakit hindi ligtas si Pilipinas dito?" Faith said in the report.

Diaz, who was also arrested, refused to comment on the charges and insisted that he didn't know Lorenzo that well. "Nagmaneho ako, biglang sumakay 'yan. Hindi ko talaga alam kung anong trabaho niyan," he said.

Last Saturday, a woman accused Lorenzo of raping and keeping her as a sex slave in 2004. She filed charges of rape, illegal detention and kidnapping against him, after he allegedly took their child, conceived through Lorenzo's rape, without permission.

Two women have also accused Lorenzo and another accomplice, Alfie "Buddy, Turado, of raping and robbing them when they boarded the UV Express he was driver.

Turado was arrested by the police last week but was killed when he reportedly tried to grab a police officer's gun.  —Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
