Three men were arrested on Wednesday in a raid by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents on a cybersex den in Quezon City.

The NBI identified the suspects as David Jemsen Navarro, Marveen Navarro, and Carl Edward Perez who were arrested in their residence at Duval Town Homes in Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City following surveillance operations.

Seized from the suspects were computer sets, flash drives, cellphones, and other devices being used in their operations, which involve the distribution and advertisement of pornographic materials and online live shows.

According to the NBI, the suspects use fake social media accounts and pretend to be females with corresponding photos of naked women.

They entice their clients to sign up on links directed to a porn site, wherein the latter would provide their credit card information for billing purposes.

"It was also discovered that their transactions are well-kept secrets and were only being shared to people close to them such as relatives and close friends," the NBI said.

After their arrest, the three men were brought to the NBI headquarters in Manila where they underwent booking procedures.

Charges for violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act will be filed against the suspects.  — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
