One lane of EDSA Taft to be closed Sept. 3-4 for installation of MRT coaches

One lane in the EDSA-Taft area will be closed on Saturday and Sunday to give way to the installation of new coaches of the Metro Rail Transit, a report on News To Go on Friday said.

Four coaches of the MRT will be fixed at the Taft Avenue station.

The innermost lane of EDSA-Taft southbound will be closed at the following times:

• Saturday, Sept. 3: 8 p.m. to 12 midnight
• Sunday, Sept. 4: 12 a.m. to 3 a.m.; and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists and commuters are advised to plan their routes. —KG, GMA  News
