MRT faces early morning woes

Track repair at the North Avenue Station of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) has caused the suspension of operations early Wednesday morning, Super Radyo dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.

Normal operations, however, resumed after more than one hour.

In a tweet posted at 4:08 a.m., MRT operators said "all trains are inserted to Quezon Station SB (South bound)."

Security guards at the station announced the suspension of operations at the MRT North Avenue Station.

Commuters were advised to proceed to the Quezon Avenue Station.

The agency has announced in its Twitter account that track repair has ended and normal operations resumed by 5:20 a.m. — BAP, GMA News
