MRT-3 carriage derailed while in maintenance

A carriage of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 was derailed while being prepared for maintenance on Sunday evening, News To Go reported on Tuesday.

MRT Director for Operations Deo Manalo said an axle of car 28 was derailed while going down the track switch to the MRT depot on Sunday night.

Manalo said no one was injured nor was there a passenger on the train as the carriage was being prepared for maintenance when the incident happened. — Rie Takumi/MDM, GMA News
