Ronel Bonifacio, a witness, said he was outside the establishment when he saw sparks or some sort of electrical discharge that could have set off the blaze.
According to Sr. Insp. Reden Alumno, San Lazaro Fire Station commander, the fire may have started on the second floor where the sound system was located.
The fire, which reached the first alarm, quickly spread through the building as it was made of light materials.
Fortunately, no one was reported hurt in the incident.
Authorities say initial damage estimates were placed at P100,000.
