QC finally suspends classes

Following criticism over an earlier decision not to cancel classes, the Quezon City government at around 11am on Thursday has decided to override its decision and…cancel classes on all levels.

They cited directives from Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Head Karl Michael Marasigan.

The announcement was made on social media.

Other LGUs have suspended classes for today, Thursday, as early as Wednesday afternoon.
