MMDA to auction off impounded vehicles

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will put impounded vehicles up for auction on August 29.

A report on 24 Oras on Sunday said a pre-bid will also be held by the MMDA on August 16.

The MMDA said owners could still claim their impounded vehicles before the auction dates, provided they pay their fines along with the P80-per-day impounding charge.

Non-functioning vehicles and vehicles over 10 years old would not be put up for auction. They would, instead, be sold for scrap. — Margaret Claire Layug/DVM, GMA News
