Two motorbike riders killed in Malabon shooting incident

A man and a woman riding tandem on a motorbike were killed in a shooting incident Friday night in Malabon City.

Citing initial information, GMA News reported Saturday morning that the incident occurred at past 11 p.m. in a dark alley near a creek in Barangay Concepcion. 

The male rider died on the spot and whose body was sprawled near his bike, the report said, adding that the woman victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Authorities are still trying to identify the victims as they were not in possession of any items that could help establish their identities. 

A barangay official was quoted as saying that there was no CCTV camera covering the crime scene. 

Also the report said that the Malabon police and SOCO personnel have not given any statement on the incident so far. —LBG, GMA News
