Pasig police arrest 4 suspects in rape-slay of Grace Omadlao

Pasig City police have arrested the four men seen on closed-circuit television footage hours before rape-slay victim Grace Omadlao was found.

Senior Superintendent Orlando Yebra Jr said the four are now considered as suspects because a witness saw them dragging the victim.

"Huli na namin 'yung apat na nakita sa video. Suspects na sila dahil may witness kami na nakakita nung kaladkarin nila ang biktima," he said.

Yebra said the four are now undergoing interrogation.

He added the suspects will also be submitted for DNA examination to be handled by Scene of the Crime Operatives.

The four men were earlier tagged as persons of interest.

Omadlao's body was found on Monday outside a house in Villa Esguerra Homes Nagpayong II, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig.

Autopsy examination conducted by Doctor Marianne Ebdane of Pasig City Police showed the victim was raped and strangled to death.

Omadlao, 16, wanted to become a teacher. —KG, GMA News
