The National Bureau of Investigation reconstructed the crime scene on C-3 Road, Caloocan City where Carl Angelo Arnaiz and Caloocan Police allegedly exchanged gunfire.

According to a report on Unang Balita on Monday, the NBI did the crime scene reconstruction to verify whether the information written on the police spot report was true.

The NBI also reenacted the gunfire exchange. Policemen reportedly hid behind an electric post when Arnaiz shot at them.

The reconstruction was left unfinished as the Philippine National Police's (PNP) autopsy report on Arnaiz's body has yet to be forwarded to the NBI, the report said.

The autopsy report will be the basis for determining from what direction the bullets fired by the Caloocan Police came from.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Gapan, Nueva Ecija has allotted a P200,000 reward to those who could report the whereabouts of the people who had thrown the body of Reynaldo "Kulot" de Guzman, 14, in a creek.

De Guzman, allegedly the last person seen with Arnaiz, was found dead floating in a creek in Nueva Ecija, his head wrapped in packaging tape. —Akari Nakano/KG, GMA News
