4 drug suspects, including minor, arrested in QC sting operations

Four drug suspects, including a minor, were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City before dawn Saturday.

Batasan Hills Police Station told GMA News that operatives were able to buy from one of the suspects, identified as Cristina Sy,  P500 worth of suspected shabu in the operation in Barangay Payatas.

Police also arrested one Mark Soliman, who bought shabu from Sy.  Also arrested was Sy's 16-year-old companion.

Recovered from the three suspects were three sachets of suspected shabu.

Police said that Sy used the minor as drug courier. But she denied being a drug pusher but admitted she is a user.

The minor will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Elsewhere in Barangay Batasan, another suspect identified as Mark Soriano, was arrested in a separate buy-bust operation at about 3:30 a.m.

He yielded a sachet of suspected shabu and a cal-.38 hand gun.

Police are preparing proper charges against the three. —LBG, GMA News
