MRT train catches fire; unloaded passengers walk on elevated tracks
A fire broke out from a coach of a Metro Rail Transit train, prompting the operator to unload the passengers on northbound tracks between Cubao and Kamuning Stations on Sunday morning.
Super Radyo dzBB's Manny Vargas reported that the incident took place at about 10:20 a.m. when a northbound train caught fire upon reaching the Nepa Q-Mart area.
Police Officer 1 Paul Jason Torres told Vargas that he saw a thick smoke billowing from one of the coaches and alerted the operator to stop the train.

Northbound train operations from Cubao temporarily halted and the MRT management implemented provisional service.
But as of 11:10 a.m. normal operations were restored.
