Man shot dead by motorcycle-riding men in Caloocan City
A family in Caloocan City lost three family members to unidentified gunmen riding motorcycles in two separate shooting incidents, GMA News' JP Soriano reported Thursday on "24 Oras."
The victim, Carlito Ramirez, was followed and gunned down by motorcycle riding suspects just a few weeks after his daughter Victoria and her husband Justin, suffered the same fate.
An investigation into the two incidents is conducted by the police to identify the suspects and to determine if these are connected.
Once he noticed they were being followed, Carlito dropped off his live-in partner, Victoria Dagis, and tried to get away. The suspects caught up with Carlito and shot him in the head for times.
The report said the family expressed grief and confusion over the deaths that occurred just a few days before Christmas.
"Wala naman siyang kaaway eh. Alam ko, wala naman siyang kinukuwento sa akin," Dagis said.
Carlito's son, Reymart, was emotional over the death of members of his family.
"Galit. Tsaka, ano po, sobrang sakit po eh," he said.
"Ano po ba 'yung atraso ng pamilya namin sa kanila at nagawa nila 'yung ganitong klaseng kahayupan sa pamilya ko? "Kung sino man ho siya, sir, huwag po sanang magku-krus 'yung landas namin," he added. — Margaret Claire Layug/BAP, GMA News
