Defective MRT3 train unloads passengers again; only 8 trains running during peak hour

A northbound train of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) unloaded passengerse during a peak hour on Wednesday morning due to a technical problem.

The MRT3 said the train unloaded passengers at the Magallanes station at around 6 a.m.

It did not specify how many passengers were unloaded, but the whole line is usually busy at 6 a.m..

Meanwhile, the MRT3 said on its Twitter account that only eight trains are running the line as of 8 a.m..

The MRT3's "peak hours" start from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m..

The train management usually deploys 19 to 20 trains during peak hours. —ALG, GMA News
